As devoted initiators of international cultural collaborations, Trafó - House of Contemporary Arts and Krétakör are organising a comprehensive and representative showcase of independent Hungarian theatre and dance artists. Our selection aims at introducing artists and companies operating beyond the mainstream, since being representatives of the independent scene ourselves, it is their future we feel most responsible for. Our experience has proved that assisting their integration into the European and world market can be of vital importance for the development of single groups as well as the whole field. And personal contacts are the best way to achieve this. We believe that our guests will gain a sensitive and timely impression of the present state of Hungary's society and performing arts and that they may find partners with whom they will find it worthy and possible to cooperate.
